Grandmaster Dong Jin Kim
(Mentor & Grandmaster Instructor)
Born in South Korea, Grandmaster Dong Jin Kim is a 9th Degree Black Belt Grandmaster Instructor, the highest Tae Kwon Do rank possible. Grandmaster Kim has over 50 years of experience teaching martial arts worldwide. Grandmaster Kim is also the creator of Jin Mu Do. This practical self-defense martial art goes beyond the sport of Tae Kwon Do to real-world, practical self-defense.

Master Brett Williams
(Co-Owner & Head Master)
Certified instructor with the World Pro Tae Kwon Do Association with over 23 years of martial arts training and teaching experience. Brett has lived and taught martial arts in Florida, California, and Japan and has experience in child and personal development. Brett also has experience as a computer programmer and is developing custom software to make training at our school the best experience possible for our students.
Master Jeff Puetz
(Co-Owner & Head Master)
A certified instructor with the World Pro Tae Kwon Do Association with 21 years of experience teaching Tae Kwon Do. Jeff is a performance coach in innovation at Navistar Inc., a Fortune 500 company. At Navistar, Jeff uses his leadership and performance skills to designs cutting-edge production and innovation programs. Jeff brings this expertise to Jin Martial Arts Academy and teaches our students the leadership skills they need to succeed.
Who we are:
Our head masters are experianced and our grandmaster is a world recognized martial arts instructor with combined experiance of almost 100 years. We are looking to redefine what martial arts schools are. To deliver on the promises other martial arts schools often only talk about. We will utilize modern technology and pair it with our knowledge of personal development and self-defense to provide customized paths to maximum growth for our students. We want to deliver the necessary support modern people, families, and communities need to survive in this ever-complex and busy world.
Where we are:
From day one of our doors opening (January 3rd, 2022), we are takeing Grandmaster Kim's 50+ years of teaching martial arts and provide a world-class training facility. These classes will focus on safe and effective self-defense and personal development training. So if you want to learn to defend yourself, get in shape, or even pursue competitive martial arts goals, we can provide the training and support you need.
Our vision for the future:
Our goal is to create a village of support for our students and the communities in which we have schools. We want to constantly hunt down areas of struggle for our students and help them find solutions to these problems. This will take resources and time to develop, so we hope to build a core group of students to help support this goal. The world has never been more complex and busy. We hope to become the support system people, communities and families desperately need to live their best lives.
The story of our name:
Grandmaster Dong Jin Kim is our mentor and instructor. Our lives have been made better because of the training we received from him at his school. Our passion is the pass on and even improve on this training so we can enhance the lives of all our students just as our lives have been enhanced by the life skills and experiences we received at Grandmaster Kim's school. Because of this, we have named our school "Jin Martial Arts Academy" as a respectful dedication to our instructor, Grandmaster DongJin Kim and his fantastic art of Jin Mu Do.

Grandmaster Kim lands in USA
Grandmaster Kim moves his family to america and opens U.S. Martial Arts Academy and develops Jin Mu Do

Master Brett takes his very first class as Grandmaster Kim's student

Master Jeff takes his very first class as Grandmaster Kim's student.
